My daughter, now 9, had genitals in the normal range at birth until she was a few years old.  She was not diagnosed until she was 5, when the Dr. said "When did it get so big"?  I was ready to kill the Dr. right then and there.  She had been seeing her since birth and when I kept bringing it to her attention, she said it's OK.

My 11 year old (non-CAH) would not let me look at her naked anymore.  So every month or so I ask stupid questions like.....do you have any hair down there yet?  let me look under your arms...etc.  Her breast have gotten real large, that's why I'm concerned.

Anyhow, from what I hear, if not under control the clitoris can grow, but can also shrink when back in control.  I'm not sure if this is accurate information, so I would question the endo.  The PCP may not be up on the CAH issues.
