2. I take great, NO, extreme offense to you appling that I am prejudiced, OR that I otherwise have a lesser upbringing that you claim to have had. Now prior to this I never made any reference to education.. Just maybe that the post you made was not clear. I am not perfect and sometimes, things don't read at this end the same as what they were intended at the other end. You mention upbringing here and then education . Im sorry but I fail to see to the relevance of all this. I had a very frugal upbringing, my kids have a very frugal upbringing and we just treat eachother with some common basic respect. I wasn't aware that when I wrote all my posts that people would assume I am 'above' them or more 'educated' than them. Most of everything I posted comes down to basic values in life. Some people just don't write of them that is all. I did in great depth to illustrate that you do not have to be of a particular religious belief. Neither do you have to be coming from an Oxford University background. Neither do you have to totally disown the idea of pre-marital sex. Neither do I have to be in any particular class status or have had a "perfect" upbringing. My point is, anyone can learn from life and build on it from anywhere. I do not have to be highly educated, religious or upper class to enjoy the basic things in life or be a decent human being. You seem to have assumed somehow that I have when you say the above. I am wondering now if by reading my posts, if anyone has actually perceived them as they were written. Basically, there is 'nothing' out there for parents to cling to when thy have these things happen. I just tried to give them an attitude and if they didn't know what counseling achieves, help them to see 'how' it gives one "attitude" in dealing with everything that life throws at us. I wonder, do I have to have a name like "Pebbles MD" before anyone takes what I have said and sees a grain of truth in it?
