I thought about that too. Since it needs to be refrigerated I couldn't help but wonder what I would do while out and something happened and I didn't want to do the shot. I take the cortef pills with me at all times so I can give him the double or triple dose as needed. I haven't had to use the shot or double or triple dose him yet. At least  I know that this way I am prepared. By the way, If I will be out all day, I put just enough medicine in the needless syringe and I carry that in a coller bag for his afternoon dose. It has worked out well. Talk to you soon.
