I was wondering for you all who use the liquid, did constipation become a problem?

My son, now almost 4 months old had a bowel movement every day of his life until we switched over from cortef to the liquid. I called the endo and she said that she had never heard of that problem with the liquid but it could always be a first. He would go 5 or 6 days without a bowel movement. He is solely breast fed. I know that a while back someone posted that it is hard sometimes to distinguish what is and what isn't caused by CAH and the meds. I just found it to be such a dramatic change from one day to the next that I don't think it is just coincidental.

He got his 4 month shots today and is doing very well. No fever. The ped. told me to give him 1 to 2 tbl of prune juice per day. I was using glycerin supositories but he told me not to keep using those because he would become accostomed to only going to the bathroom when I used those.

If anyone else experienced the same problem please let me know how it was  resolved.
