My babies move around in the crib a lot too.  Always have done and in the morning they would be feet at the head of the cot or curled up in a ball at the bottom and no covers on them.  I made a safety sleep.  You can buy them here, but I made one out of an old cot sheet and velcro.  Do they have them there in the US?  They are just a broad belt (approx 1/2 meter) that wraps around the cot or bed mattress and then they have a belt (approx 8 inch width) which wraps around the babe and keeps them on their back and in the same place on the mattress.  They fasten across the tummy with thick strips of velcro.  I know that my has been abd absolute god send and it stops them from waking themselves up in the night.  If they don't have them there you can make them quite easily.  They are basically just made from white cotton sheeting and then piped around the edge for decoration.  Mine has done me through three babies now so it was well worth the time it took to make it.
