Ok, so I need to clarify that I don't think that it is only parenting that affect how we turn out to be but also the environment that we are in or surronded by. There will be exceptions to this as there are with everything.  If I have a daughter and if after she grows up chooses to be gay, I will not turn away from her. After all she is still my duaghter. I also feel that I have enough common sense to instill in my child the knowledge that I am here for them and no matter what they have done or turn out to be I will always be here for them. My husband feels the same way, although the gay issue would be harder for him, I think. Of  course my children are still young. We have many years to go to see if my beliefs are correct!!!!

As far as Jude's story, it is terrible that he was raised as a girl when from what you say he was so clearly a boy.  That is  just wrong. I believe that if they are very virilzed to the point where the sex is not immediately determinable, a sex should not be chosen at random. I think that the child should be raised according the actual sex the person is. CAH or not.  I think most would agree with this.

Well, I don't know what else I could say to discuss this topic. It is obviously a touchy subject for all. No one post is going to change the beliefs either way.  I have to go make PB&J sandwiches so I'm signing off of this topic.
