Re: Your mistake is in assuming there's anything "factual" about the use of the term "intersexed" in regards to CAH

Danny,

As you know, I have a reluctant acceptance of the term in question.  It is that I came to this reluctant acceptance after doing much research about myself and CAH in general.

If you are so convinced in your opinion that the term is flat-out wrong, how do you reconcile the fact that it is widely used in the medical community concerning CAH?

I don't think I need to list the references to the term, as they are all over, including on the John Hopkins website you link to.  It's there, and it is widely used when discussing CAH.

Instead of coming back with brilliant colliquisms, I would like to read your argument, along with your facts and references.  Even if that evidence is anectodal, I think many parents on your board would like to hear what facts and references you can offer opposing the word,  your evidence that it is flat-out wrong, and why you feel the medical community is almost universally mistaken.
