From the article on the Nova site it stated that Max was a mosaic. Some cells in his body have XY genotype and his other cells have XO. He was also born with gonads. I agree that sugery should of never of been done. I would say that see was born a true hermaprodite not a SV CAH. It doesn't say what she has anyway.

Even the ISNA states that people with CAH have either XY or XX chromosomes. I have my medical records. I was born with only female chromosomes, I was not born with gonads.

I'm sorry but I'm not a lesbian nor do I wish to transition into a male. I always wondered why I WASN'T A lesbian because so many people with CAH seem to be. I've worked with lesbians and partied with bi- sexuals. Nice people but I don't feel like they do. The only thing that I can surmise is that there is just a smaller percentage of people with CAH that are Hetrosexual. I've given this alot of interspective. As soon as I embraced my feelings, it felt right.
