Ask your ped endo about doing genetic testing with Dr. Maria New. He/she takes the blood from from you and your children (and your spouse - if you are married) locally and then sends it to Dr. Maria New in New York City (Cornell University). This is tell you exactly what type of CAH you and your child carry. My insurance paid for it. And it would be good for your children to know when they are planning a family or if you plan on having any more children.
