But they are special parts. That's what I teach my kids. You want kids to be modest about their body, but you don't want to make them feel ashamed of it either, so I explain to them that there are special parts that shouldn't bee seen by anyone but a few special people. I don't know what the author was menaing by objecting to a child thinking of their gemitalia as special, but I see it as the right way.
