For the CARES Foundation, Inc. web site(www.caresfoundation.org) , I am trying to write a section on girls with CAH and some of the challenges that they face, including surgery and the psychological issues. So far, I have merely read some of the posts from women whose lives have not been very happy and often have been full of strife. I know that there are many women with CAH who manage to have happy lives, but we don't often hear from them. You viewpoint would help me to better understand growing up with CAH and give a ray of sunshine to to what sometimes, from the posts on this message board, seems to be somewhat gloomy.
