Both of my kids have SWCAH, and both were potty trained at 3 years and about 1 month. We went through a lot of frustration with our second (daughter) because we knew she was able to go on the potty, but decided not to. As Val said, once she we put her in underpants instead of pull-ups it only took a couple of accidents to get her trained. I know the mess is a problem, but it really helps make it go faster. And, don't worry, there is no "right" time - it is all in her hands. There is absolutely nothing you can do to speed it up - it will only make you and her more frustrated! Good luck!
