Pain and shock following orgasm

Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed as a child with CAH, when virilisation was somewhat advanced, clitorimegaly etc. I am wondering, therefore, if the problem I am about to outline has been experienced by other women who may have some degree of genital virilisation.

Although by the time I reached adulthood, I would not have considered that I had any major degree of clitorimegaly, but I still wonder if it relates to my subsequent problem.

From early in my marriage, sometimes following an orgasm (usually about 2-5 minutes later), I would start to have terrible uterine pain/cramps, which would progress to sweating, extreme pallor, vomiting, diarrhoea and a feeling I just wanted to die.  These episodes would last up to half an hour. Then I would be physically drained. These episodes only ever occurred following orgasm.

Needless to say it put a bit of a dampener on our sex life!! As the years passed these episodes inevitably happened about every second  time. Eventually I had a hysterectomy as the only solution to stop these pain/shock occurrences. It worked!!

Thanks for listening and I'd like to know if others have experienced this problem and if there is any correlation to CAH.
