Here in New Zealand. It will cost $17.05 per week to make up the one bottle. I do not know what the florinef would cost to make up for babies---presume that that is subsidized---never looked inot that one, though nothing surprised me now with these people. Would no doubt cost the same. Then there is the sodium chloride for babies too! Normally my sons meds are subsidized to $6 for florienef and HCT and then I can claim that back as being under a certain income via the social secirty (WINZ) in it's entirety, so normally I wind up paying nothing. However, those over a certain income would have NO way of getting their kids meds subsidized so if they had a small baby with swcah, they would wind up paying $34 per week at least for just florinef and hct. Whats that in US dollars as I am quoting NZ dollars here. When I consider that you pay nothing in the UK for any meds under the age of 16, and that this med is subsidized as tablets but not suspension, it makes me wonder who let this one slip. Can you recoup the whole cost of your meds over in the US? I also worry about new parents having thier babies diagnosed with this and then two weeks after discharge and nearly losing a baby, they have to find out that this so called fully treatable condition their child has with simple medication (well I am just quoting doctors that spoke to me at diagnosis---lol) then find out it costs $40 to maintain their baby a week in just meds! It's getting worse by the minute as I investigate.Val
