If I seem absent.

Ginny hurt her leg last week and after 3 days it still hadn't cleared up so we took her to the doctor. The doctor had X-rays done but wanted to follow up with a bone scan. Monday we took her in for the bone scan and after looking it over the doctor immediately admitted her to the hospital for osteomyelitis (an infection in the bone). She just came home today, but has a PICC line installed (which is a catheter in her arm that leads to the vein just above the heart). We have to push medicine in the PICC line 3 times a day. She hates it. The anti-biotic has to be refrigerated and they didn't say whether we can wamr it up before injecting it, and the home health care nurse didn't know either, so you canimagine how disconcerting having 5 cc's of 40 degree liquid squirted into the middle of your chest cavity could be, and the nurse informed us that the anti-biotic burns slightly as well.

So far this new condition hasn't seemed to be related of affected by her CAH, but we  are still giving her extra cortef.

I alsowas in the middle of a complete script redo of this board, that will include all of the archives. The new script should be faster and be easier on the server.
