My daughter who is now close to 3 yrs old has been on the same amount of Florinef since birth and her BP and blood test results have been fine todate. She takes 1 1/2  0.1mg Florinef tablet a day in the morning. I stopped giving her salt on its own sinced last year but I do make sure that I put extra salt into her food everyday and she loves salty food. Her docter did mention that high BP can be due to high level of sodium, which can mean that the child is taking too much salt or the Florinef dose is too high. Hope this helps. Sue.
