Just wanted to let you know that here in the UK renin levels are tested by some Endo's only once a year.  I have been told that unless blood pressure is high or there is a craving for salt, it is only necessary to test once a year!  I would also feel happier if renin was tested every three/four months.  Again each endo has his own ideas on when the test should be done.  Some feel anytime of the day will do - some like early morning and after resting (even fasting) for an hour. The Endo we used to be under refused to to bone age too - saying he no longer believes in them!  I have since changed Endo's!  Can you get Corlan pellets in NZ?  They are 2.5mg tablets of hydro and used for mouth ulcers, I know several people use them here (not sure if they split well).
