Ash's Paed Endo said that the body can get used to the rythms that you dose the meds at, and changing that can cuase probs and stuff the rythyms up. So far though ( a week later) we are not seeing a problem with that dosing. What I forgot to ask is, do you suppose that if the child is woken with a nightmare or to go to the loo "before" that 3am dose is due (say around 1am) that they may affect the balance of things. I was just wondering if he woke in the early hours preceding that dose if he would be best taking that dose before he settles again. It's just I felt that the sleep pattern is broken and the GH and all and it may just make the pituitary kick in ealier than 3am, and it may be best to take the HCT at that point to stop an escape of such getting out of hand. I was thinking I could tell him that if Mum and Dad are in bed and he wakes after 12pm and before 3am at all to take his early morning dose straightaway. I could leave it in the bathroom cabinet. :)Val
