Two of my children started vomiting this week and Ashley now has it. Must be something going around. He vomited before 7am this morning and I waited 30 minutes to give him the meds but just as I was about to give him his cortisone he vomited again. So I waited 10 minutes and got him to take his cortisone but he could not keep two attempts down and we took him to the doctors five minutes away from a solu cortef jab. He had one this morning and we have just got back from having the second one. He looks quite rough and has slept for the most of the day. I was hoping that the second jab would do the trick. He has had the equivalent to 10mg in one arm and then another dose of it in the other this after noon. He has not been able to keep the florinef down until now. I knew it was a 24 hour tummy bug as Chloe started vomiting in the early hours of the morning and Kyle had this the day before and went for 24 hours. My husband had it. Mum, and Aran are fine= we are the puke cleaner uppers at the moment! :) The baby (Tyler) 11 months just has diahorea. Apparently Kyle picked it up from kindy as a few other children all started vomiting on the same day he did. It sort of takes about two to three days after contact with someone from the way things are going. Not nice. I've had my Vax working overtime the last few days! I had pedialyte on hand for the baby but so far he was ok. Ash would not drink that so we bought a tub of Poweraid and tried him with that. NO JOY! So the only thing I can get down him yet again is coke and water which is better than him drinking nothing at all I guess. Hopefully, he will get better as the day closes in. But if not, I will take him into hospital.Val
