You mentioned in your email that you were concerned about talking to your daughter about her CAH. I am in the process of writing a section for the CARES Foundation web site on genital surgery and one section will address how to talk to your daughter about her surgical history. It is always a scary prospect for parents because we don't know how the child will react to the news, if they have not been told. Please check out the CARES Foundation web site and should have the new section online by the end of the year.
