Re: Salt Cravings

Just curious Susan, has Brayden leaned toward saltier foods in everyday life prior to this. It is common for CAHer's to eat lots of pickles, pretzels, potato chips, french fries and other foods that come already salty. Is it possible that Brayden has simply learned that he can eat other foods when he needs salt simply by putting it on himself? I forgot exactly how old Brayden is, but we gave my son his own salt shaker when he was 5 and let him know that he could use it as he felt necessary. After careful supervision from Mom and Dad, we realized that he would adjust the amount he used on his own. It's worked out pretty well so far. Keep us posted.(:>)
