Just the way you say you are not sure if he is a sv or a sw. He would be on florinef if they had diagnosed him with sw thats for sure. If he is craving salt and not on florinef than I would say he was just diagnosed CAHSV and that he needs to have this reassessed with his blood tests to make sure he is retaining enough sodium etc. In the CAHSV I do not think they run the renin do they? Check and make sure but I would ask them to un a renin next time if they have not done this since his diagnosis. HCT would help retain some sodium but not as much as a SW would need in total.
