That is wonderful news!! I loved being pregnant and I miss it. My little on is 5 months old and I love this stage too!!

While I was in NY, I met a lady who had just had a little girl with CAH.  She knew about CAH because of a prior pregnancy so she took the dex.  She said that she would take it all over again. She said she was a little moody but didn't have any other problems.  The baby was not virilized at all. Their first little boy was a saltwaster so this little girl was going to be as well. I was very inspired by this lady because after my last baby, I was  scared to try again. So, I wish both of you well and may you have healthy babies, cah or not!

Kaye, you said that CAH would not stop you from  having other kids, I'm wondering if you, Christine, felt the same way.  Thanks for the input.

One more thing, instead of an amnio, the cvs is done at 9 weeks(?). This is much sooner than the amnio is ususally done, so it might be an option to look into. You don't have to wait as long and potentially expose a non cah baby to the steroids. Have you both started the dex? Were you able to continue with your current OB or did you have to get a high risk Ob. Who prescribed the dex?
