Re: For Betsy and JanetG? Any special diet needs?

Hi Kaye,

No...I have always been quite small.  5'2", about 105 pounds.  The only time weight was an issue was many years ago when an endo I saw at the time (and quickly 'fired') put me on hydrocortisone.  I ended up all cushing-like.  He was happy...my levels were right on; I was miserable.  Thankfully, I quickly shed that weight.

I eat whatever I want, but only when I am hungry and only until I am full even if there is still food on the plate.  The only 'special' dietary need I subscribe to is an adequate supply of salty things like olives and pickles in my fridge ;-)  I do avoid a lot of greasy things, most fast food, and snack foods like chips but that is because I had my gall-bladder removed about 13 years ago and my digestive/intestinal system gets very unhappy with that stuff.
