Adina, You were asking about the Prader scale earlier.  This article just mentions it briefly, but does give a cite for where to find more information.  (See footnote 6.) I don't know exactly what you are looking for, but if it is an in-depth description of the different stages 1-5, I have a feeling you'd probably need to consult an Endocrinology textbook.  Most journal articles, like this one, will just allude to the relative severity of a given patient.

Also, I am pretty positive that this scaling is used internationally.  Prader was an European.....I want to say Swedish, but I don't remember exactly.  Besides the virilization scale, there is also another endocrine disorder called Prader-Willi syndrome, which, I assume,  is also named after him.  Sounds like he was quite a guy!

"......In females with CAH, the degree of virilization of external genitalia toward the male type in genetic females has been classified in five stages by Prader (6), where on a scale of 1 to 5 (I-V) the genitalia can be scored from slightly virilized (e.g., mildly enlarged clitoris) to indistinguishable from a male. Most classical cases of 21-OHD are born with Prader IV genitalia......."
