daughter having pain

Last Monday my daughter came home from school complaining of stomach pain and a headache.  She looked pretty pitiful when I got there.  We came home, stress dosed, etc just like we normally would.  I heard that several kids in school had some kind of stomach viruus and naturally assumed that is what we were dealing with.  She never vomited or had diarrhea; however, it is Sunday night and she is still suffering.  Since Thursday, the pain has become more localized - left side in the area of the kidney and she says it sometimes feels like a stabbing pain.  The doctor took a urine sample on Friday and should have the culture results tomorrow.  He thought maybe a kidney infection - or perhaps the pain is coming from the ovary.  She has not started per menstrual cycle yet.  (We just stopped Lupron in July.)  My question, has anyone had any experience with this much pain associated with menstruation - first time?  If so, is it CAH related?  Could it be something to do with the adrenal gland, since that is also in the same general area?   The pediatrician has suggested that she see a gynocologist if the urine culture is negative.  I will be calling the endocrinologist as well.  She needs some relief.  Any experience with this?  Any ideas?
