I learned how to do the jab today---well practised on a lemon. We were given a script for solu-cortef and on the tab it says: Give 1ml (50mg) intramuscular injection, if unwell & vomiting as directed. Give 2ml (100mg) if very sick. Those doses seem quite high to me and I note that on the weekend we only gave 0.2ml in each arm 6 hours apart (10mg) and this seemed to help a great deal. Can people post exactly how much they have given their children in the past here for me to not the average doses? Thanks Val
