Well, we have ruled out kidney infection - culture was negative and antibiotics did no good.  We ruled out pancreatitis - thank God because it is sooooo serious.  Kristin had extensive bloodwork done and it all came back normal - except that they say she has had mononucleosis at some time in her life, yet she was never diagnosed with it.  Dr. says that is not uncommon to have picked up the virus yet never exhibited signs of it.  Yesterday we did ultrasound testing of her complete abdomen - top to bottom.  Everything looks normal.  Still, she hurts in her upper left abdomen.  It is worse after she eats.  Tomorrow we will do an upper GI if they can get us in at the hospital.  I just wish we could figure this out.  It is so frustrating.
