Hi All,

Well, I had our regular checkup with our reg. endo. She was not too upset about us having gone to see Dr. New but she did say that they each have different ways to treat people. REALLY???????

She told me that she has been in clinical care on her own for 10 years and she knows what works and what doesn't.   She said that she didn't have a problem with the 2x's a day dosing and switching back to tabs from suspension. She said that the only thing she would have done is flipped the doseage amt so that Jackson would get 2.5mg at night and 1.25 in the am.   I looked at her kindof funny and she told me this was because the the acth peaks in the evening. I wasn't sure what to say so I didn't say anything!! I looked like a deer in the headlights. I was so overwhelmed. Yet another difference in opinion. I know you guys are saying this lady has gone off of her rocker!!! Maybe I have. LOL!!!

She was also surprised on Jacksons low dose and that he wasn't on florinef anymore. I'm not sure what she was expecting me to say. She had a letter that Dr. New sent to her that explained what they had done and she still looked at me like she had no clue what they did.

To make a long story short, if possible, we are waiting to see what his numbers tell us. She said if it would make me feel better we could do the 24 hr. urine analysis Dr. Su suggested but we should wait until the numbers came back. I agreed on that.  Jackson did fall a little on the chart for weight but the Dr. said this was OK.  He grew 2cm.  also. So, we'll see what the numbers tell us.

He is so little and really never been sick that I'm not sure what to base anything on. I guess as  time goes on, I'll get a feel for how he does. My 7 yr old is sick with some fever virus and although I am keeping him away from his brothers, it's only a matter of time before it spreads!!!  I'm sure I'll find out then what and how Jackson does.

Frustrated in Houston!!!!

Sandra

P. S. Thanks for all the information and the listening.... my husband thanks you too!:)
