We are still not sure about the mono - she has had it (perhaps very mildly) because she has antibodies for it.  I still wonder how long ago or recently it may have been and is her spleen tender because of it?  She has been going to bed earlier than usual too, which to me could be attributed to mono.  Kristin had an upper GI done last Thursday.  It, and the ultrasounds done a little earlier in the week both look ok.  The doctor wants her to see a gastroenterologist.  They all seem to be booked until almost the end of the month.  My doctor is trying to get her in sooner.  I'm afraid they will want to look in there with the scope next.  Meanwhile she is on 150mg of xantac twice a day.  She seems to be feeling a little better but we don't know if it is the xantac or not.  She is going to try school Monday after being out for 2 weeks.  I hope it won't be too much for her.  She knows she can call me and I will come right away.  Has anyone here had experience with either mononucleosis or GERD (reflux)?
