My CAH daughter (Will be 4 in January) went for her semi- annual visit to the Ped Endo. He is EXTREMELY concerned about her weight gain (13 ozs in 6 months-she weighs 23 lbs) and has prescribed Periactin. Has anyone else ever heard of or used this med? We also got a bone age x-ray done (Finally -she has never had one)I am really scared. On a more personal note, the divorce is still not final and being a single mom of 7,6 and almost 4 year old is challenging to say the least...But we are making it! Happy Holidays to all and I will try to stop in more often!
