There is absolutely nothing wrong with the HTML editor on this site. When I 'could' use it I did not really have the computer literacy or know how to. Now I understand it and could use it very well if it were available to me for use, I cannot post with it because of the IP block sometime back. I now have to use a proxy to post that does not disclose my true IP address, and therefore allows me to post as another IP. When I use the proxy however, html and in all it's finery is not available to me. Ohh for the luxury of HTML editor! Alas, it is just a standard plain message box with no ability to change the text---said with some sadness. Actually, I "dream" of one day changing the text in my sleep! It would be the best christmas gift actually this year for me! To edit my text that is as I would love to be original and put some charachter and body into my posts for folks. I simply love using the board now and the folks seem to be becoming like an extended family. However, I cannot until either my IP address is unblocked or I find another proxy such as the Safeweb one I was using that will bring up an HTML editing message box for me. Safeweb, the one that allowed me this luxury, stopped their service sometime back and I now use a different proxy browser. I have Internet Explorer set up on my machine here, and although I have used Netscape I personally prefer Internet Explorer. In all this would really prefer to post with my IP address. That way people could definately know that when I put my name to something, and I post, the IP address assures them that it was definately me posting and not some imposter. In all that, I would like to extend an apology to all that use the board for my posts a few months back at the time that my IP was blocked. There would be no "good" excuse for what happened. I would however like to have people use the posts that I have made since then with the aid of a proxy as a much more seasoned board user who recognizes the importance of carefully wording things a little more AND improving all the time. Could you please consider unblocking my IP address Danny so that I could take advantage of the HTML editor. You have my complete assurance that any posts that I make will be much better presented than they are currently OR in the past. I would be most grateful. :) Regards,Val
