Please jump up and down about the labs.  It is not satisfactory for them to be done 6 monthly honestly.  When a boat is tipped and starts to take in water, it doesn't take long for it to sink does it!  These kids only need ONE illness and it can throw their levels into a spiral effect and they really need to be checked more often (three monthly) for basic care to be effective enough to stop things going beyond the point of no return---i.e. premature puberty or osteo with over treatment.  Too much these days their attitude is to give them large dose to keep them suppressed longer and less fine tuning and it all contributes to osteo and other side effects.  these children deserve to be treated a little bit less crude where doses are concerned and allow for a little normality in their lives.  Ashley, my son was left 7 months at one point before blood check after they cut back 2.5mg like your daughter and his 17 OHP levels were absolutely way out of the ranges and he started to approach puberty---arm pit BO.  We are just climbing back down to normality after he came off the dex treatment that they had to put him on in order to bring his 17 OHP back withing the normal ranges.  Everything that happens to these kids after doctors have claculated a rough dose is irreversible.  That is why I stress at the very least that they need three monthly checks and when they make changes as they have with your daughter MONTHLY to make sure that what they have calculated is ok and that you are not heading into trouble.  So I would just say be strong and stand up to your doctor and if necessary "Get Shirty!" and make sure that she is checked regularly for the time being.
