I thought you might find this interesting. This is from my medical records in 1974, I don't know how much it relates to CAH but there might be something to it :

" The patient was also seen in consultation with Pediatric Psychology and psychometric examinations were performed which showed that she scored 8-10 months ahead of her age expectations. This was true in all aspects except gross motor exam which is still retarded."
