DebbiWMy non-cah daughter is very hot natured. She used to be drenched when I'd pick her up from her crib. As an 8 yr old, she can throw on only shoes (no socks( when we have the occasional snow) and have it not bother her. But she is very sensitive to heat. Red cheeked! But....she has blond hair and blues eyes and fair skin.
My cah son would have blue lips and fingers in his first few winters and loves the heat. The one you thought you'd have to worry about getting dehydrated from heat, etc. ...does great. But...he has darker skin (tans like a lifeguard) and brown hair. Perhaps it has more to do with genes than CAH here.
As for delays, we have had no delays other than being shorter than average. However, I am 5'1 and my husband is 6'1. So...ther is no telling how they could end up "potentially". My son is extremely bright, great motor skills, and hit all the milestones with range.
BTW, I used to wonder alot "Is this CAH related?" in the beginning, too. It comes up less often now, but it's not a bad thing to just keep in the back of your head either! Who else will know what is "normal" for your child than you!
