AmandasmomHi Meg:
Welcome to this board. My daughter was diagnosed with LOCAH 5 years ago at the age of 16. There are many boards out there for LOCAH. I don't know waht you mean by flu like symptoms. But it is common to be very tired, have headaches, find it difficult to concentrate or even think clearly if you are not taking enough meds. Also mood swings and anxiety are common.
To answer your question about children, from what I understand LOCAH and CAH are recessive genes. This means that you need to have the gene for LOCAH or CAH on BOTH chromosomes to have the disease. If you only have it on one chromosome you are a carrier. If your husband is not a carrier, then your children would all be carriers, but would not have the disease. If you husband carries the gene to classic CAH, or LOCAH your children have a 50% chance of having LOCAH and a 50% chance of only being carriers. I don't think if you have LOCAH, you can have a child with Classic CAH, so there will be no problem with ambiguous genitals in your daughters.
Hope this helps! Good luck,
Amandasmom
