As I'm sure you are finding, there are different types of and aspects to CAH. Your endocrinologist may not know the answers to all your questions, as some pieces of the CAH puzzle stray across the demarcation lines into genetics. Perhaps you should organise a consultation for yourself and your husband with a geneticist, finally to allay your fears regarding passing on the condition to your children. As a parent, I suspect that these fears may be the source of some of your anxiety.
