I quarter pills for both of my CAH boys, my endo thought I was crazy but I said it is no problem, when I quarter I use one pill for the entire day, then if one is a litlte bigger or smaller it is made up on that day. My little one takes a total of 5mgs per day, 2.5 am, 1.25 afternoon, and then 1.25 PM and I just split one pill and I do an enitre weeks worth in a pill box so there is no confusion, I have two CAH boys that take different amounts, which could make you crazy! Both my boys have been under very good control, numbers would suggest a bit oversuppressed but both boys are very thin and no physical sighs of oversuppression.
