ALL liquid suspension is supposed to be shaken prior to use. Hence the "Shake well before use" instruction right on the original bottle. We did stop the use immediately after the 5 - 7 minute change came out. FYI, it was right before the FDA stepped in and had a joint recall. It WAS stopped immediately but still 2 years after the fateful formulation change! What you would have done has absolutely NO baring here on this case. If you are trying to tell these people that they are responsible for their own child's injuries then that IS totally offensive. You, yourself said that you would have brought any bottle back after the shaking notice came out. By that time Val, Ashley might have already been dead or severely injured. (BTW - to date there have been 22 - 27 people who are involved in some way in this case) not TWO as you have implied We will ignore your implications, and refuse to go Tit for Tat and back again with you. It is a pure waste of time. We have better things to do like trying to prevent this from ever happening again. We are being active advocates for our children. And, the docs ARE being held responsible for their actions. It takes incredible committment and strength to do what these people are doing for their children. I admire them and if this action brings them some peace of mind and can re-establish their trust in the medical field than so be it. Good luck to you in finding an acceptable treatment for your son. I know he has been bouncing in and out of control for some time now. I also know he was allowed to go for 7 months without blood work. This is not acceptable. Perhaps if you had laws in place in NZ like ours, it would help to keep them honest and on their toes. I do feel sorry for you as you have such a select few endos to choose from. It forces you to accept treatment that you otherwise might not deem appropriate. Seems to be the luck of the draw.LynnT
