I do not believe getting upset and insulting me is the solution is it?  The only question I posed was---is it not the responsibilty of a doctor to take note of blood test results and clinical assessments when they are off balance.  ESPECIALLY when there is a big hoo ha about the meds not working properkly for TWO years.  I mean two to three blood tests should have been enough to tell anyone---and expecially after dose raises and still higher than normal ranges of 17 OHP, that it was the drug itself.  Like I said MANY children were pulled off it way before all that because of that fact.  Why would it be the parents fault?  of course they WOULD have questioned the med itself KNOWING that they are complaint with giving the meds.  However, there comes a point where doctors NOT LISTENING to parents or acting on the blood results has to be the bottom line here.  Otherwise perhaps if Doctors had got off their a**'*, and done something constructive---the manufacturers could have acted a little more quickly.  It certainly needn't have taken 2 to 2 1/2 years to accomplish that much.   Doctors are in control of what they script 100%.

To a certain degree the company needed to recall, but how can they do that when only parents are complaining?  It takes a proper body or organisation to do that and 2 to 2 1/2 years to intervene was way too much time.  So what happened with ythe FDA and WHY did they take sooo long?  I guess drug comapnies rely on them for feedback most religously when it comes to products not working properly.  Not the odd letter from a parent.  I mean I have not had ANY intention to offend any parent here actually, but rather to question people about the whole thing.  You could look at it on the bright side herein.  I am just posing questions here that any GOOD defense lawyer for the company would pose am I not?

Could I just say that I base my posts on what others write.  When you posted on the thread you stated that not enough parents had come forward.  Now it has changed from the two you stated to in the 20's.  I am only asking the obvious questions here.  Personally, I could see NO consolation in suing the company as like I said, it would hardly reverse the damage that occured or bring my son back if he was dead as you state.  Please could you note for future reference, that just because I state opinions and ask questions that are out of the ordinary--that it does no give you the right to twist things around to make me look like I am insulting parents.  I never did.  Just asking qeustions that inevitable will be asked at any class action law suit in the future I guess.

Perhaps when parents finally get compensation, if they are awarded such, they can work around using it to better the lack of Paediatric production that is safe.  I know that personally I would go the direct route and just go straight to the horses mouth so to speak and ASK them to do this without going the long road around.  If you choose to think that that is in some way letting the children affected down---that is not my problem. We are totally different people with differences of opinion.   Neither opinion is wrong.
