What does that involve?   Does anyone know?  What IS gene therapy?  Do they do it on the babies in utero or can it be done on actual people?  Does it last forever or need to be done over and over again after several weeks, months or years?  What does it intail, blood transfusions?  Is it painful?  Is it even possible to repair a gene enough to make the body take over and work right?  Maybe I'm dreaming now, but I think it would be a good idea.  I'm interested in something like that because if they fix the problem then the kids won't need the 1 mg pill.... however, I agree the 1 mg pill is an excellent idea in the interim.  I have seen Jake bounce between over and under surpressed like he's on a trampoline and can't get off.  and it's enough to scare a parent.  Now with his moods I can tell the part of the day he is over or under.  Anyone understand anything about gene therapy please give me a yell on board or email.  I'm interested in learning.  Please start from square one... I'm clueless on the issue.
