You guys are being so helpful with Jake.  I just can't thank you enough.  Carol, I just looked at your last post, and forgive me for being such a "newbee" (lol) :)  You are so patient and kind.  Thank you!

I think I understand it, although I do think that with his circadian rythm out of whack that he is showing signs of undersurpression sometimes still (like the glossy eyed sleepy stupor that he sometimes gets before a dose) and then again, the over suppression I've seen as well when he's hyper just before a dose.  It's never black and white, like he is always hyper or always in a drowsy state, and there's no rhyme or reason to it either (like every third Tuesday).  I think it's just not following the natural rythm of his body.  I do highly agree that he is over suppressed on the dosage.  Especially for being considered a non saltwaster in the beginning.  Carol, so let me see if I understand.... if his circadian rhythm is off balance (the peaks and valleys of when his body needs it) then he can be over surpressed within an hour of taking the pill and undersurpressed when his body is extra taxed (fighting a cold or something else) and he gets the sleepy stupor I mentioned just before (1 hour or so give or take 30 min) and also as a result of it not being time released in his body?

Laura K, I understand now how this can affect girls too.  I'll be looking for it more closely now in Savannah too.  Thanks.

We see the endo on Feb 5th.  He's going to be surprised if I learn this by then.

Thanks again Val and Carol,

Adina
