I was always interested in anything written about the Kennedys since it is rumored that my family is related somewhere down the line. My father bares the same name. I became much more curious when I had my son and he presented with CAH. It really made me wonder if indeed it wasn't Addison's at all, but CAH that JFK was afflicted with. It would explain some of the high testostorone he seemed to have(:>). I haven't been able to find much written about his Addison's except that he had it. It would be so interesting to see if it was identified as Addison's because of some of the negative aspects that come with CAH or simply the fact that it is rare and not a lot of informative articles were written about it at the time. When visiting Ireland, I took a trip to the birth place of Joe Kennedy. It was being made into an historical tour home. I just happened to luck out and met someone there who was related to the Kennedys and we were both interested in finding out if we were indeed cousins. Whether or not it is true, it sure was exciting. Meanwhile, my friends in Ireland continue to research our lineage. No matter what turns up, it should prove to be interesting.LynnT
