Hello to everyone. My daughter Sara is going to be 4 in Feb. and her last blood draw was rough. The roughest ever. She has to watch everthing going on. I do to except for the needle part. She really screamed and cried....which made me feel so bad. I explain to her why it has to get done and try all I can to make her feel better. As soon as they are done she is fine. So to make a long story shorter! I got some EMLA Cream to see if it will help. I told her it will make it not hurt and that it will numb her arm where they take blood. She said its magic cream and that she will close her eyes. So I hope it works. I explained that she will feel them touching her arm and the band that hugs her arm. So I am hoping she will really close her eyes so she will not see the needle part!! I am just wondering others expierences with the EMLA Cream. Thank you for any words on this subject! Amber
