Yes, we were instructed to double our daughter's meds until she's feeling better (no fever, no more congestion). We were told that it's better safe than sorry, and that doubling for a few days unnecessarily will not hurt your child. As far as healing times, I haven't noticed any difference in the time it takes my CAH daughter to recover from an illness; if anything, I think she gets better faster than her non-CAH brother.
