Re: Cortef and Florinef

When Ash was a baby and the pharmacy made his florinef, it was good for a week---the pharmacy guaranteed it up to 7 days.  Technically there should be no difference as long as they are using a basic recipe for making it and not adding anything that can interfere with the suspension of the florinef.  We never had any problems whatsoever with either up to Ash turning two as we had them made weekly and out pharmacist just used the BASICS.  No added flavors or sugar as that can make the suspension like a bug magnet.

Wouldn't it be good if you could just take the convenient dose in solid form and just let it dissolve in water (like a disprin) and give to your baby in a dropper?  That is what a 1mg pill will be able to achieve for kids of all ages.  Then all you need is a good pill cutter and it will be the best thing that you could possibly use.  Why have these guys not thought about this earlier?
