I would consider the other places before South Florida. I have friends that move away from here because they will not put their kids in public school and these people went to the same schools. Private school is the only way to go if you want your kids to have smaller controllable classes. Car insurance is sky high. Traffic takes a lot of patience to deal with. Broward Co. is crowded with people and strip malls. It's a nice place to vacation.Yes, the ocean is wonderful but remember that sharks come in to 5 feet depth of water, so it's not that wonderful.   It's like living in a greenhouse in the summer. Hot, humid and icky. Just this week there was a deadly shooting at the local college. The local news is a crime report and it's not just Dade Co. anymore.  South Florida does grow on you, give it a year but it is a shock to a lot of people.

As for doctors ....I would say good and bad. I went to one that I had a problem with before I found someone who listens to me. I've had two different medical insurances while I've been here and no problem concerning the CAH but then again I'm a simple virilizer maybe that makes a difference.
