Hi All, I have been thinking about this idea a lot since I posted the last message on it. Here's what I've come up with. I am writing a letter that we could all sign. I need help in this part as so many of you are so knowledged in CAH AND know how to be concise. This seems to be my problem so far, too wordy. I need some help as I would like it to be very factual but to the point. Does anyone have any abstracts connecting growth hormone failure to large doses of hc in the pm? Also, any articles on side effects of androgen breakthrough? I will post the letter in it's rough stages to have all of you help me out!! It's not finished yet. After we get many signatures and addresses of parents (I'd like to include next to the signature the number of children with CAH it's representing) then we need to send it to ped endos in the US with a cover letter explaining our endeavor and get more signatures. Maybe we can get some people who've researched and found the benefits of 3:00am dosing to back us, Senators? who else? Then we can try to approach the drug companies. My husband was a little bit of a downer with this whole thing. As he most likely correctly states, even if the drug companies are willing to produce this it will be years for FDA approval and our daughter may be grown and on Dex by then. But I just can't let this go. If we can do this then we will help many other children! Any other ideas?? Anyone know how to get addresses of pe endos? It must be known that the current treatment is NOT good enough. Our little ones deserve the best possible treatment and this IS possible, right now.
