Tape has always stuck to my son really bad--hair or not, it was his skin that it was sticking to. Paper tape was better, but the best thing we have found is "First Aid Hurt-Free Tape" by Johnson &Johnson...it "sticks to itself, not to skin." His lab uses it sometimes, but not always, so we bought some of our own & take it with us when he goes in. He's 16 (almost 17) years old now & still HATES to have anything with adhesive put on!
