Eveie.....Congratualtions first. You will get through this. I breast fed at first to and could not produce enough milk. I started pumping at the hospital to try to start it up. They did give her formula but I also breast fed. I might have not produced enough, so they still did give her formula until my milk came in. We actully attached a tube to my breast and I fed the formula through the tube as my daughter nursed, to stimulate my milk AND so she was used to the breast instead of the bottle.I think I was feeding her too much. She became bloated so they decided to stick that tube down her nose to monitor her digestion. I HATED that tube. They came to the conclusion she was just eating too much. Like I first told them. This may not be the case though. She had bowel movements and wet diapers. That baffles me with your daughter. Whatever the case, ASK all questions until you are satisfied with thier results. Don't give up. I will keep you in my prayers. I am so sorry this is going so not good for you. Hang in there. Tell them you want to breast feed too. It should help your milk come down. I know being so stressed when my daughter was born did not help my milk coming in. Perhaps once you start to breastfeed her even if nothing is coming out, it will be a stress reliever to the both of you. A bonding time. YOU are in charge. Tell them you want answers about her condition, NOW. Many blessings. Hang in there and let us know how you are both doing.
